Oil pumps are used mostly in high power combustion engines. They are driven by gears or by permanent coupling and are available as single, double or three section pumps.
Pump delivery8.7-92.5 gallons/minute(33-350liters/minute)
Rotational speed 800-1200 RPM
Bodies of the pumps are cast of aluminum or iron alloys.
Gears in the pumps are carbonized. The hardness of the carbonized layer is HRC 60+or-2.
All gears are checked for cracks magnetically.
As a part of quality control, each pump is checked during operation as follows:
After assembly, the pumps are tested in our pump test bed to determine that they meet the pump output requirements and are leak proof.
A random sampling(10%)of the pumps are then disassembled and inspected.
These pumps are then reassembled and again tested in the pump test bed.
